Each year at our annual Designer Bag Bingo fundraiser we have a Luxury Raffle basket valued over $1000. This year its a Bucks County Getaway, complete with 2 night stay at The Galvanized American Inn and Art Gallery, Kate Spade Overnight Bag, dining and activities. Fabulous weekend get away in Bucks County.
Pack up your new Kate Spade weekender tote and take your significant other on a trip north to Pipersville PA.
Once there you will be staying in the lovely Freedom room of the Galvanized America Inn.
Friday. After checking in you can enjoy the complimentary wine and tidbits before heading over to the Plumsteadville Inn for a romantic dinner.
Saturday. After breakfast at the Galvanized America Inn spend the morning exploring the local area. If you travel east on Dark Hollow Road toward the Delaware River you can plot a path to cross five of the twelve covered bridges of Bucks County within a 15 minute drive from the Inn. Along the way you will pass the Stover-Meyers Mill, a National Historic Place or take a short drive down Cafferty and Tory Roads to the High Rocks Overlook. Or you may want to travel north from the Inn on 413/611 to South Park Road to see beautiful Lake Nockamixon (The Pearl S. Buck House will be just west of you).
After exploring head back towards the Galvanized America Inn and enjoy lunch at Gregg Thomas’ Historic Piper Tavern.
After lunch head over to Bishop Estate Vineyard & Winery for a tasting. Then back to the Galvanized America Inn for a rest or a swim before getting ready for a sumptuous dinner at the Carversville Inn. Along the way on Carversville Road you will cross the Loux Covered Bridge.
Sunday. After breakfast at the Galvanized America Inn continue exploring this wonderful area. Drive south west to Peace Valley Park and Lake Galena where walking trails abound. Check out the Peace Valley Nature Center or visit the Peace Valley Lavender Farm. Head over to El Mariachi Restaurant for lunch before heading home.
