Distribution of funds is made each year from our annual fundraising efforts to those nonprofits selected as Annual Beneficiaries. MWA chooses Annual Beneficiaries each year through a membership nominating and voting process. A Women's Place, Bucks County PA
A Woman’s Place
As the only domestic violence organization in Bucks County, A Woman’s Place (AWP) provides comprehensive free, private, confidential service, support, education, outreach, and advocacy to victims and their children, and the community.

Bucks County Housing Group

This private, nonprofit organization works to advance the interest of low income families in crisis by providing affordable housing and related social services. The goal of BCHG is to assist families in obtaining permanent housing and to provide opportunities for families to be self-sufficient.

FSA-Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter
This shelter, located in Levittown, provides homeless families with a safe, temporary home, along with food, medical care, clothing, social services and more importantly, hope.

Penndel Community Food Pantry (BCHG)

Operated by the Bucks County Housing Group, the Penndel Community Food Pantry provides food to families in need in the Lower Bucks County region. In October 2014, Penndel Food Pantry enrolled 118 new families in their program. These new families will join 1405 other families who access the Penndel Pantry on a regular basis. 45% of those in need are children.

Pennsbury Scholarships

Awarded to female graduating Pennsbury High School seniors who are in need of assistance to further their education.  These individuals show scholastic excellence, as well as community involvement.  The Pennsbury High School Guidance Department recommends these students.

Yardley-Makefield Fire Company
The Yardley-Makefield Fire Company is the sole provider of fire protection of the businesses and residents of Lower Makefield and Yardley Borough.  YMFC operates two station houses and is 100% volunteer.  They pay for all operating costs, equipment, clothing and training from funding and donations/fundraisers.

Wrapping Presence
Founded in 1995 in memory of her parents who spent their last years  in a nursing home, Marne Kies Dietterich has developed a special program to bring the hubbub of the holidays back into the lives of homebound residents. Wrapping Presence arrives with a flourish in early December to set up shops brimming with new gifts for all ages.
