Each year through a nominating and voting process, members select a group of local nonprofits to be Annual Beneficiaries. With these organizations in mind, MWA gets to work hosting fundraising events and collecting donations for the year. At year-end, all proceeds are distributed to the beneficiaries to support their continued service and contributions to the community.
Members of MWA not only raise funds for local nonprofits, but we also support these organizations through donation drives and volunteer work – an essential component of MWA’s mission to serve the community. MWA is actively involved in meal making for Caring for Friends, organizing events for the young residents of FSA’s Homeless Shelter, keeping their three-mile stretch of Edgewood Road in Lower Makefield clean through Adopt-a-Highway, and many more.
