Makefield Women’s Association Celebrates 10 Years of Designer Bag Bingo & 45 Years of Community Impact

[Fairless Hills, PA] – It’s a milestone year for Makefield Women’s Association (MWA), and they’re celebrating with purpose and plenty of prizes! The 10th Annual Designer Bag Bingo returns on Friday, October 17, 2025, bringing exciting games and meaningful giving to Bucks County. This highly anticipated fundraiser will be held at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road in Fairless Hills, PA. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and bingo begins promptly at 7:00 p.m.

“Our Designer Bag Bingo has become such a fun tradition, but what makes it truly special is the impact it has on the lives of others,” said Gina Athas, President of Makefield Women’s Association. “For 10 years, this event has brought our community together to raise essential funds for local organizations doing vital work.”

As MWA celebrates its 45th anniversary as a volunteer-powered nonprofit, all proceeds from the evening will support vital Bucks County non-profits.  Beneficiaries of the 2025 event include:

• A Woman’s Place – Bucks County’s only domestic violence shelter
• Family Service Association – Levittown Shelter, offering housing and services for homeless families
• Women’s Animal Center – sheltering and rehoming over 3,000 animals annually
• Pennsbury Kids – enriching the educational experience of local students
• Yardley-Makefield Fire Company – the community’s primary fire protection service

Tickets are on sale now! Admission is $35 per person, which includes 10 bingo games, dessert, and coffee. Tables of six can be reserved for a fun night out with friends. The event is BYOB, and outside food is welcome.

Can’t make it? You can still join the fun and support the cause through our Luxury Raffle, no attendance required to win!
