MWA’s Acts of Service in June
To mark our 45th anniversary, MWA launched a bold initiative: 45 Acts of Service. Over the next year, we will complete 45 big and small projects to extend our reach, deepen our impact, and bring more people into the spirit of service.
During June, we supported Amy’s Kisses by participating in their Annual Walk to Remember. This meaningful event brought together supporters to honor the lives of Amy Perez and her two children, Molly and Gregory. It raises awareness about domestic violence while inspiring change through education. MWA members were among the 100+ participants in this year’s 5K.
As summer begins, children at the FSA Homeless Shelter need summer supplies to attend day camp. This year, we provided the campers with beach towels, sunscreen, swim diapers, and sunhats. MWA’s donation drive helps fill family needs beyond FSA’s annual Back-to-School and Holiday Gift drives.
Stay tuned for July’s update as we track our progress with 45 Acts of Service through April 2026. Each act highlights what we stand for: community, generosity, and the power of women working together.
