MWA members in the community

Local businesses. Real impact. A shared commitment to Bucks County.

For over 45 years, the Makefield Women’s Association has been showing up for our community, raising funds, supporting local nonprofits, and creating meaningful change right here in Bucks County.

And we don’t do it alone.

Our Community Partners are the businesses behind the scenes who help make it all possible.  When you become a Community Partner, you’re not just sponsoring an event.  You’re stepping into a full year of impact.

How It Works

Each year, MWA members thoughtfully select a group of local nonprofits as our Annual Beneficiaries through a nomination and voting process. These organizations are doing critical work in our community, from supporting families in crisis to providing food, shelter, and safety.

Throughout the year, MWA hosts fundraising events and initiatives with one goal: to give back in a big way.  At the end of our fundraising cycle, proceeds are distributed directly to these beneficiaries to support their missions.

Last year alone, with the help of our Community Partners, we proudly distributed $27,000 to local organizations making a difference.

Why Become a Community Partner?

Because your business can do more than serve customers, it can serve your community.

As a Community Partner, you’ll receive year-round visibility and meaningful recognition, including:

  • A featured listing on our website (logo, description, and business details)
  • Social media and email promotion to our engaged local audience
  • Recognition at our signature Designer Bag Bingo event (300+ attendees)
  • Opportunities to connect directly with the community through event promotions and giveaways
  • Ongoing acknowledgment at community events like Harvest Day

And depending on your partnership level, even more opportunities to shine.  But more importantly… you’ll be part of something bigger.

Meet Our 2026–2027 Beneficiaries

Your support helps us fund organizations like:

  • Bucks County Housing Group – Penndel Community Pantry
  • A Woman’s Place
  • Pennsbury Scholarships
  • Family Service Association of Bucks County – Emergency Homeless Shelter
  • Bucks Coalition Against Trafficking (BCAT) / NOVA

These are the neighbors, families, and individuals your partnership directly supports.
