Are you looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community, on your schedule and alongside a group of passionate, welcoming women? Makefield Women’s Association (MWA) offers just that.

We’re a diverse group of women united by a shared mission: to serve Bucks County and the surrounding area through volunteerism, fundraising, and friendship. As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute in ways that work for your lifestyle—whether that’s helping organize a fundraiser, prepping meals for Caring for Friends, collecting donations, or simply showing up to lend a hand at one of our many service projects.

Flexible Involvement, Real Impact

Life is busy—we get it. That’s why MWA offers flexible opportunities to get involved. You can volunteer as much or as little as your schedule allows. All contributions matter.

Our projects include:

• Hosting events for residents of FSA’s Homeless Shelter

• Keeping Edgewood Road clean through Adopt-a-Highway

• Running donation drives for local nonprofits

• Preparing meals for Caring for Friends

• Organizing our annual Designer Bag Bingo, our biggest fundraiser of the year—every member plays a part in making it a success, and it’s a night of fun and fundraising!

More Than Service—It’s Community

While our hearts are in service, our friendships are the foundation. Members stay connected through volunteer activities, casual social events, and monthly meetings. Whether you’re new to the area or a lifelong local, MWA offers a supportive, inspiring space to meet others who share your passion for giving back.

We meet the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. in Yardley, PA.
Annual dues are just $35, directly supporting our charitable efforts.
